“Ikari” or “Anger” if you will, explores the premises of being questioned about the unagreeable aspects of oneself. I wrote the script some time ago and it is loosely based on a story by Toon Tellegen.

We just completed work on a pair of sites showcasing the work of the late Dutch artist Gerard Verdijk and his wife, Josephine Sloet. The sites are designed by our esteemed colleague Rutger Fuchs, we were contracted for the build and implementation. Both artists have a substantial body of work that has proven influential on Dutch art as it’s seen today, click through and check them out:

Last week the promo run started for this years’ edition of Hiphop In Duketown, the annual outdoor festival coming up 17th of July on the Parade in beautiful Den Bosch City. This year will be the first of a new sibling event; Reggae In Duketown, which will be held on the evening of the 16th. The website has been re-skinned & test presses of the new shirts are in, expect more news on the festival from @HHID in the upcoming weeks.

The ‘Digitale Vrijheidswijzer‘ (or ‘Digital Civil Liberties Guide’ for the non Dutch speakers in the crowd) we designed and built for Bits of Freedom has gone live today. If you’re unfamiliar with Bits of Freedom, they’re a Dutch digital rights advocacy group who strive to protect civil liberties by influencing political & legislative processes at both national and European levels. You could consider them a Dutch equivalent to the EFF.
This Digital Civil Liberties Guide is intended as an informative aid to help people decide who they’ll vote for in the upcoming Dutch elections. Each party that currently has seats in government is shown cross-referenced with nine issues of importance to the digital rights movement (the right to Internet access, net-neutrality, surveillance reviews etc) and scored on their viewpoints as stated in their election programs.
If you’re voting in the upcoming elections check it out and make sure your party of choice is committed to protecting your rights online.
